Metal Prototype Options

CNC High Speed Machining/Wire EDM

The CNC process is great for tight tolerance prototypes and projects in any volume. Just about any material can be used, including aluminum, zinc, magnesium, titanium, steel and plastic. Additionally, our wire EDM service is designed for those very small, tight tolerance metal partsl. Lead time 1-2 weeks.

Bent Metals & Stamping

Perfect for chassis, housings, levers and other such parts, this process is done by break presses, laser cutting, welding, machining and stamping dies. It is good for parts up to 60 inches. Lead time 2-5 Days.

Spin Casting

This method starts with a small pattern carved into a rubber-like material. Heat and centrifugal force are applied so that the material retains the memory of the pattern. Then the zinc/aluminum material is poured and multiple parts are produced. Lead time 2-3 weeks.

When it comes to CNC, this is our tightest tolerance method for producing a plastic or metal part. It is also used to finish off a metal casting. If you need Bent Metals, they can be done in less than a week. Spin Casting is used for small, highly-detailed zinc parts.
